적용분야
누수량 검검측정 : 유체의 급.배수 라인의 인입라인과 유출라인 분기점등의 유량을 측정함으로서 누수량을 파악. 펌프용량 확인 : 펌프에서 토출 유량을 측정하여 펌프의 성능이나 교체시기 등 확인 유량 비교측정 : 기존 유량계와 비교측정을 해서 기존 유량계의 성능 검사. 유량 밸런싱 : 분기점별 유량을 측정하면서 밸브를 조작하면 Line별 유량을 조정. 공정 연구용 : 유량값 Data 저장기능을 이용하여 실시간 유량을 분석하여 시간별, 일자별, 계절별 사용량을 분석, 이를 펌프용량 및 파이프사이즈 등의 설계에 적용.

기능
Portasonic 7000 series는 옵션에 따라 관경 13mm에서 6000mm까지 파이프(PVC, MATAL, etc)에 적합합니다.
시차법 유량계의 한계인 유체내 기포및 부유물 함유량 1%(10,000ppm)까지 측정 가능합니다.
측정할 현장에서 센서는 관(Pipe) 외벽에 설치되게되고, 현장에 대한 자료입력은 계기의 메뉴에 의해서 가능합니다.
센서는 수평이나 수직으로 설치될 수 있습니다.
정밀한 측정을 위하여 중요한 것은 유체의 흐름에 맞는 정보라 할 수 있습니다. 파이프 내부 흐름을 측정하기 위해서 각기 다른 파이프 지름에 대한 기록 정보가 필요하게 될 것입니다.
초음파유량측정방법중 시간차(Trnsit Time) 기술은 액체를 통과하는 음파 전송이 필연적입니다. 정확한 유속 측정이 가능하지만 센서와 센서 간에 이루어 지는 음파 전송은, 기포 또는 음파 특성의 매개물에 의하여 방해 받을 수 있습니다. 그러므로 측정 현장은 주의해서 선택하여야 합니다.
하지만, Badger사(Fuji)의 초음파유량계는 시간차방법에 의한 측정과 시차법의 한계를 넘어서 측정이 가능합니다. 즉, 입자를 함유한 고농도의 유체나 기포를 함유한 와류가 심한 유체라 할지라도 측정가능합니다.
센서를 설치할 때는, 관(Pipe) 외벽에 부착된 부분을 밀착시키는 것이 매우 중요합니다. 접착면의 빈공간, 고르지 않은 표면, 부적당한 상태로 센서를 설치할 경우에는 신호의 손실이 있을 수 있습니다.
