| 아연
1. 개요
생물의 물질대사에 반드시 필요한 무기물질이자 지각을 이루는 중요 원소로 널리 분포하고 있으며, 원소기호는 Zn 입니다. 얇은 철판 위에 아연의 얇은 층을 피복한 아연도금철판(함석)은 철보다 이온화경향이 큰 아연으로 철을 씌움으로써 철의 부식을 막으며 지붕이나 각종 용기에 널리 사용되고 있습니다. 특히 간 및 췌장에 많이 함유되어 있는데, 결핍증으로 피부염, 탈모증, 발육부진, 생식기능의 저하, 빈혈, 미각 및 후각 기능의 저하 등이 알려지고 있습니다. 그러나 과잉섭취 시에도 미네랄불균형 등의 문제가 발생합니다.
